Clover Release! 🚀 v3.9.0

This release introduces enhancements to contact visibility, invitations, and task management, along with broader improvements to the Conversations experience.

New Features & Improvements

Contact Details Visibility

A newly designed contact action card view allows for easy access to key features and information providing easier access to essential details. Clicking on any contact chip opens a new dialog where you can quickly send DMs, assign tasks, copy the contact's email address or jump to the contact's company profile.

Note:

  1. Direct Messaging requires access to Clover Conversations.
  2. An upcoming release will allow access to full contact details from the "view details" button.

New “Invitations” Tab for Company Profiles

A new Invitations tab has been added to company profiles, giving teams a centralized view of user invitations sent via email.

Each row displays:
    • Date Sent
    • Inviting User
    • Recipient Email
    • Status (e.g. SentAccepted)
    • Resend controls

Where permitted, a "+" Invite button allows you to send new invitations directly from the Company profile — either inviting a colleague to your own company or inviting a contact at another organization to join Clover and be associated with their company.

Access is permission-aware and context-sensitive:

    • Individual users can invite from their own Company profile only
    • Business/Enterprise users can invite others, but not to their own company (Business and Enterprise tier customers have Administrative roles to manage their own users. If a company manages its own users, invites are blocked and a clear message is shown)
Once accepted the user becomes an active contact — appearing in the Contacts tab of the company joined, depending on connection status. This tab ensures every user invite is trackable, actionable, and transparent.

New Task Statuses in UX

We’ve redesigned task status groupings to simplify filtering and improve clarity in the task screen. The new UX consolidates multiple backend statuses into intuitive, user-facing labels that help teams quickly understand what action, if any, is needed.

Task Status New UX Grouping Tooltip (if applicable)
Deferred , WaitingForApproval , NoConnection Blocked

Each “Blocked” state now includes a helpful tooltip to guide user action:

  • Deferred → “Waiting for user signup”
  • WaitingForConnection → “Waiting for company connection”
  • WaitingForApproval → “Waiting for approval”
NotStarted , InProgress , Deferred Needs Attention
InProgress In Progress
Completed , Done , Closed Done

These labels help reduce confusion and indicate when intervention is possible — such as resending an invite or verifying a company connection.

Additional Improvements

This release also includes numerous quality and performance improvements across the Conversations module, contact management, and workflows.
